My competitors are other bakeries and coffee shops in the Ottawa area. Examples of these would be Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Rideau Bakery, Grocery Stores, etc. Advantages compared to them are things like the unique environment they will be surrounded in, the difference in freshness and realness of the products, the diverse selection of products, and the fact that it’s a combination of both a real bakery, and a coffee shop. Disadvantages compared to my competitors would be the customer loyalty big chain businesses like Tim Hortons have with their consumers because they’ve been around for years. Ill compete with them by lowering my prices as low as possible, using the penetration pricing strategy, and build customer loyalty at the same time with the exceptional customer service that my workers will provide.
